I was beyond thrilled when the team at L’Oreal Paris‘ Bentonville office reached out about getting updated professional headshots for their team. As soon as Shawn and I began our consultation call, I knew I wanted to incorporate backdrop colors that are cohesive with the brands that fall under the L’Oreal Paris umbrella. After all, if you’ve scrolled through my site or seen much of my work, you know that I love using bright colors for headshot sessions. It’s a huge bonus when I can make sure those fun, bold colors fit with a business or corporation’s branding.

Garnier and Maybelline are part of L’Oreal, so we opted to provide employees with two colorful backdrop color options beyond the traditional gray. We added a kelly green option as well as a light pink. All employees were provided with two headshots on the background color(s) of their choice. Each employee signed up for a ten minute time slot and we spent one afternoon in the L’Oreal offices taking photographs. As we went along, we spent time ensuring that each person got two updated headshots that they love.

After a corporate headshot session, I carefully retouch every selected image. I remove stray hairs, adjust minor skin imperfections like acne and glare, and whiten teeth. I deliver all selected images in full resolution via a secure online gallery.
